TGIF !!

Its Friday again.. as usual I dun feel like doing anythin except waiting for the time to strike 5:30 to leave for the day.

Today is even much better as i get to leave earlier, much earlier actually(Whahahahahah.....) coz I need to rush down to see the deity doctor. So, I jz need to wait for another errrr...another 30mins to hit 4:15pm to charge out of the office door.

While waiting for the time to tick away, I thot mayb it is time to be productive and do some "work" like blogging so my time pass quickier.. ? Muhahaha ... dont envy hor.. coz I really work very hard during Mon to Thurs to deserve this rest day on Fri (which I declared myself !! )

WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!

Hum .. nothing much to blog on except that my sis is finally ...... on ....MSN !! Yah what's there to blog about, MSN should be considered as history but to us, this is def an achievement for her !! Muhahaha.. coz we all know she is a verrrry slooooow developer when it comes to anything in IT.. it may sound absurd as her sister is soooo IT savvy !! (In case you are wondering, hey she only has ONE sister & that's ME !!)

With her joining to our family MSN clan, communication can be made much easier.
(Oh man, I need to type faster as I only left with 15mins to finish off this blog entry) As you know, we don't live together, so alot of times, we are using emails to communicate but emails are sooooo slow....& inefficient.

I hope Ah Lip can join our MSN clan also but I know this is quite impossible, coz he knows that once he is in, I will be bugging him non stop !! Hahaha ..

Persistent Cough...

For the past months, I have been coughing persistently and it got worse when I am in my office. I blamed it to our office central air con system and our dusty carpet which hardly vacuumed. (My pantry auntie going to skin me alive for putting this line :P)

To date, I have been seeking treatment from 5 doctors but all done little to help in improving my condition.

On last friday, I merely asked my pantry aunt (Yes, the same auntie) whether she has any good doctor to recommend. She recommended me this one,

So I tell myself that's going to be my last straw, if it still persist, I will jz resign to fate & live with it till it recovered itself.

I took time off to rush down to the clinic & managed to reach the clinic in a nick of time jz before it closed at 5pm SHARP !! The VERY OLD doctor (think he is the oldest doc that I have ever seen in my life) examined me, prescribed some medicine to me and made me pay a cut-throat price of $34 for few tiny pills & a cough syrup !!

Deep down inside, my heart was bleeding for this damage , " Wau lau heh , this is daylight robbery man !!"

That night, I went to Zzz early & on the very next day, I don't cough anymore !!
Yes, that's MIRACLE !! so I started to believe that this old doctor muz be deity in disguise flying down from heaven to come & heal me ! Maybe the clinic nurses are fairies in disguise too.. Ha haa Muhaha, I'm trying to visualize those old nurses turned into fairies .. Muhahaha ... that will be sooooo... "GROSS" ,man !! Hahaa - I'm so mean !! The reason why this clinic closed so early bcoz the fairies & the old deity need to fly back to the heaven for dinner .. Muhahaha .. that sounds logical right !!

so I officially declared this doctor to be MY FAMILY DOCTOR from now on.

Anyway, back to my cough thin, I won't say I am fully recovered now so I give myself a window period of 4 days till this Sat. If I still don't cough by then, I will call for a celebration !! My volka, chivas & chips are all waiting to celebrate with me on this Sat ... will update more on my condition ... CooL ..

Batam Trip

Hullo Friends, I am back fm my 2D1N stay at the batam. It was a well deserved trip which we truly enjoyed.

The villa room is superb, much better than what we expected. I did a video shot on the room. It is directly facing the sea & we witnessed our "neighbour" fishing in his balcony !! There's a open kitchen in the villa which mean u can immediately cook your catch in the villa !! Muhahah .. Isn't that cool !!

It was a pity that i didnt get to try the spa as it was fully booked :(

A interesting fact that we noticed was the complimentary DVD that the hotel provided were actually those "P-I-R-A-T-E-D "ones !! When Ah lip told me, my first reaction was like " How can that be !! " Yes, tat's crazy but it is true..

At night, We had our seafood dinner at Kelong Resturant.. Here's the spread ..

Noticed a lot of deep fried stuffs, which I can't take due to my cough ..

After the sumptuous dinner, we headed to the kelong & surprised to find the locals catching sotongs .. Muhahaha... that's so interesting & funny, man !! I took a video of e poor sotong struggling to live after being caught.

Beside Sotong, they caught a baby shark - so pathetic ..

We had a good rest ... and on the next morning... we headed down for breakfast..

When we were back from our breakfast, we had an... uninvited....g-u-e-s-t .. Glurp .... ..... ...and it was moving ... nearer ... and nearer... and nearer... to ussssssssssss ... glurp ...

If you look hard enough, you will notice this vicious water snake was actually making its way to slide upward toward our balcony ....
Arugh.........H.........E..........L...........P !!!!!!
As he was moving toward us, he slipped & tumbled down back to the ground... Hahahah.. lucky us ... close shave .. Phew - our close encounter with this poisonous limbless reptile..

Time to go home , when can we come back again ..

Besides this batam trip, I also had a REAL farking funny video clip which I video-ed Ah Lip catching the lizard in our bathroom.. Muhahah - it is really so funny, but i was warned by Ah lip not to blog that.. I have to obey his instruction or he wont catch lizard for me next time.... muhahhahah.... ..

Remedy to cure high cholesterol

This remedy was shared by my cooking teacher & was proven to be effective by he himself.

I have get my mom mom to try & hopefully it works for her.. Share this for anyone with high cholesterol ...

Ingredients:
- 3 big black fungus
- 3 slices of ginger
- 15 red dates without seeds

Methods:
Boil the ingredients above with 6 cups of water to make 3 cups out of it.
Drink 1 cup of this mixture 1st thing in the morning for the whole month.

We decided to give ourselves a short break esp for Ah Lip as he has been working very hard these few weeks.

Poor Ah Lip... so we will be going to spend this Sat in this villa at Batam View Beach Resort !!

Yupee !! Hopefully not too crowded which I doubt so as it is a peak season now ..

Here's something to share & hope enlighten you in some ways..

Lesson One:
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.

Lesson Two:

Management Lesson:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Gucci Sale !!

Heard from Wenn that GUCCI is having sales !! Die Die MUZ GO !! Today after work, I will race down with Jean to see if we can still early to grab anything left!

As u know, I got the GUCCI TOFU bag sometime in Dec & now they are puting it up as SALE ITEM with 30% off the rack price !! Wao Kaoz !! The depreciation for GUCCI bag is faster than CAR men !!

I have been warned "NOT TO ANYHOW BUY" so I get Jean there to control me incase I go hysterics after seeing the SALES items.

Recipe Out !!

Yesterday, one of my directors spilled a glass of water on her laptop and expectedly her keyboard failed to work after the spill.


What will you do if it happened on you ?


(A) Use a hair dryer to blow & expect it to work after the blowing

(B) Call Laptop vendor & confess to them you spilled your drink on your laptop & later expect to receive a cut-throat bill from them for the replacement of the keyboard & you blamed it for your carelessness.

(C) Call the vendor & scream at them for what lousy laptop that they had produced & blamed them for the faulty keyboard without even burp a word on the spill thing.

(D) Pray to God wholeheartedly & hope that he will fix this laptop for you.


For me, I have chosen (C) - <-guilt smile-> and luckily for me, I get away with it scot-free. My director's laptop was repaired free of charge & within a day!

Thanks to my superb acting skills & convincing words !! My company should give me a "红星大奖" for helping them to save $$ !! Hey I dun act for FREE OK ?

They are bunch of irresponsible Cheaters !! Out to cheat your hard earned $$ !!

We (Sis & I) bot their spa vouchers in one of their road show at Raffles exchange. Hey ! they are not cheap Ok? it's like paying $58 for an hr massage & 30 min scrub and we bot 3 of them coz we thot of going with our mommy.

We made an appt with them almost a mth ago to schedule yesterday to spa tog. When we (sis, mommy & I) reached there. An old hag claimed to be the boss of that shop (Look more than a mamasen to us with ugly tattooed eyebrown & eyeliner) walked up to us ..

Mamasen: Sorry, our staff took an urg leave today coz her grandfather passed away so she needs to go , bah bah ... so due to the shortage of our staffs we can only offer you 2 compliment facial on the house & one body massage.

Dawn: Alright.
So after deciding among ourselves who to do the massage & who to do the facial. That shameless bitch changed her mind & came back to us

Mamasen: Hum, I feel it is very rush for us to do two facials today, maybe I will do one and another will come back & do another time.

At this stage, I was already quite pissed off by this BITCH but we put up with her & decide among ourselves who to do the facial & who to do the massage. After we decided, that bitch came again.

Mamasen: Erh... what I meant is i will issue 2 facial vouchers & you guys come another day for it & I will only do one massage today..

At this stage, u can imagine I was like a valcano erupted in high flaming smoke !!!

WAO KAOZ !!!!! WHAT E HAG U TALKING !!! OLD BITCH !! U R WASTING OUR TIME HERE !! IF U KNOW THAT YOUR STAFF ARE GOING ON LEAVE, U SHOULD HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL US IN ADV TO INFORM US !!

Fumming in flame, I snatched our spa vouchers and the two facial coupons from her & left in a rage. *By doing this, I actually made a terrible mistake, to be explained more in later stage.

When home, I was complaining & cursing the whole incident to my legal consultant, Mr Teo Ah Lip. After examining the whole case in a more rationale way, Advisor Ah Lip told me I can actually file a small claims case to sue this Mamasen to compensate us for breaching a contract for the provision of services.

At this stage, you may noticed that this shrewd Mamasen made a wise move that is to counter offer us the cheap facial vouchers, and if we had not accepted it, we would be able to file this sue to her. Cry Cry Cry... so Advisor Ah Lip told me this case no fight lah, I sure lose coz I go and accept the counter offer to settle this dispute.. Cry.........

Lesson Learnt: If there's any dispute arising, DO NOT accept any counter offer, jz ask for refund if they refused, go home and file for small claim to sue them.

Today, I called them up again to make an appt & the staff told me they CANNOT cater 3 customers at one time coz they only have ONE therapist. What the HELL, the whole spa salon has ONLY ONE therapist !!! I wish I can burn down that spa !! Guess we are not the only victims of this conspiracy.

Knowing that I can do nothing at this stage, I should at least blackmouth them & tarnish their reputation so do me a favour, spread this message to your friend & anyone you know , Dun go that blackshop !!

Friday Mood .....

The time is 3:15pm and I already in the "hibernate" mood waiting to CHEONG out of the office door at 5:30 pm sharp.

FRIDAY is NEVER a productive day for me esp with BIG plans underlying in this weekends !!

In fact, I'll think MONDAY is also not a good time to be productive as we rested long enough during the weekends so it takes abit while to warm up our engine in order to operate again.

Check time again ... 4:14 pm so another 1.15 hr more..

Sick of here ... esp when I need to face Bulldog* everyday, the thot of that already enough to make me puke my lunch out !!

Some ppl that i worked with, are nice but they are others who are jz plain detestable. They stepped on others to climb high on the corporate ladder. They are incompetent & the only thing they know is to kiss their bosses' ass & gain credits from people's work. In order to survive, you need to be politically scheming or even better than them.

Oh man, why am I talking all this for ? I guess I'm too bored..

E-bay is selling it at SGD 700 !! It said "AUTHENTIC" GUCCI BAG but how sure can it be ? I've never bot anything fm E Bay but this bag is really kinda of "irresistable" isnt it ?

Anyway, do anyone know how much this will cost if we bot it fm GUCCI boutique? Mayb Wenn will be the best person I should seek to.

Overall: Glad that I took up this cooking class as I never know I can at least cook a "proper" meal for once in my life !! We enjoyed cooking tog & this actually helps to bond us tog & of course practicing our teamwork !!
